Event Details
The traumatic events of the Coronavirus pandemic coupled with the ongoing tensions from racial inequality have undoubtedly impacted the mental and emotional stability of teens and young adults, especially from minority communities.
The event “Invisible Wounds” is designed to address the unseen and rarely talked about scars brought on by the pandemic, racism, and inequality. If left untreated these psychological wounds can rob our teens and young adults of their ability to become the next movers and shakers of their generation. Our panelists will engage in a courageous conversation and share professional advice, insights, and tools on how to effectively navigate through feelings of anxiety, depression, and despair. Be assured, you are not alone. Together we can heal and mend these “Invisible Wounds”. In all these things we are more than conquerors.
